Walking Champions Programs

At Walking Champions, we offer a variety of programs designed to promote the benefits of walking among youth and the community. Our initiatives are tailored to different settings and age groups, ensuring that everyone can participate in and enjoy the lifelong benefits of walking.

Our core offering is a free, school-based program that introduces youth (aged 8 and up) to the life-long benefits of walking. This program:

- Enhances physical and mental health

- Promotes walking as a broadly accessible activity

- Offers opportunities for social interaction and transportation

- Includes an optional competitive element

School-Based Programs

The GO! (Girls Only) Walk Program is a special initiative within our school-based offerings. This program:

- Targets girls and young women specifically

- Aims to address unique barriers that may prevent girls from participating in physical activities

- Provides a supportive, girls-only environment to build confidence and enjoyment in walking

- Incorporates elements of empowerment and leadership development
